Our New Genuine charger has the ability to automaticlly charge 6V or 12V volt lead acid battery, Press the key to switch to 6V or 12V charging mode.

The charger will sense the battery voltage, detect a totally discharged battery (below 2 volts) or dead battery. If the battery is dead, the battery charger circuitry will not start due to its internal safety circuit.

 The charger is completely automatic and can be left plugged in. The charger output depends on the condition of the battery It is charging, when the battery is fully charged, the indicating light will turn green and the charger will switch itself to a storage charge mode and will automatically monitor and maintain the battery at full charge.

5-stage charging process

Stage 1:initialization

When the charger is powered on it begins self-check process.

If the Fault LED is illuminated, please check the polarity of the connections

Stage 2:Recovery

The onboard computer will test the battery voltage first, if the battery was deep cycle discharged with low voltage(<8v and>4v), then the computer will begin to recovery the battery through a small current until the battery voltage has recovered to the correct level.

Stage 3:Bulk

Charge, using the charger highest rated current for the type      

of battery in use until it reaches 80% capacity( LEDs 50%   ON ,100% blinking)

Stage 4:Absorption

the output voltage is limited to 7.3V(6V battery) or 14.5V(12V battery) while current declines as the battery charges to its full capacity without overheating( LEDs 50%  ON ,100% blinking)

Stage 5: Float 

At this stage,the battery is fully charged and the charger maintains the battery through pulse charging( LEDs 50%  ON ,100% ON)
