Enjoy the Ride: The KRX4 1000 extends the highly acclaimed comfort of the KRX 1000 to all four occupants. Roomy interior space complemented by highly composed chassis and ground-hugging suspension that soaks up bumps mean driver and passengers can strap into the high-backed bucket seats and simply enjoy the ride.

• INTERIOR - Roomy Interior with Adjustable Ergonomics: The KRX4 1000’s roomy cabin greatly contributes to ride comfort. Four high-backed bucket seats and three-point seatbelts support driver and passengers during hard riding, while providing comfortable seating during more leisurely riding. Ample legroom for all four is complemented by lever-adjustable seats in the front. Tilt steering allows the driver to further fine-tune their position for control and comfort.
• DOORS - Four Doors: The doors offer a wide opening, and feature armrests for additional comfort, as well as internal and external door handles. The KRX4 1000’s low, flat floor facilitates getting in and out.
• INSTRUMENTS - Full-Colour TFT Instrumentation: Large 7” high-grade full-colour TFT LCD screen features multiple selectable display modes to offer information at a glance in the format of the driver’s choice, as well as a number of infotainment features.
• EPS - Electric Power Steering: Kawasaki’s high-grade electric power steering (EPS) system is speed sensitive, offering light steering effort at low speed, while reducing assistance as vehicle speed increases to ensure responsive steering. It also enhances ride comfort and control by acting as a damping system, reducing kickback to the steering wheel caused by shocks to the wheels.

• FRAME - Highly Rigid Frame with Integrated ROPS: Designed using Kawasaki’s advanced dynamic rigidity analysis, the KRX4 1000’s frame incorporates the Rollover Protection Structure (ROPS) as a stressed member. The energy-absorbing ROPS design helps dissipate stress, contributing to optimal rigidity balance and high durability. For the KRX4 1000, a four-pillar ROPS design is used. The ROPS pillars feature a patented arched construction that helps disperse stress.
• PROTECTION - Protected Undercarriage: Undercarriage is covered by highly durable steel skid-plates, with key components further protected by steel pieces. Steel plates behind the front fenders offer the vehicle protection from rocks and other flying debris.
• ENGINE BRAKE - Reassuring Engine Braking: Stable engine braking characteristics, care of the CVT and centrifugal clutch, offer reassuring support on challenging descents – especially in Low-gear.

Its powerful, high-torque engine is complemented by CVT transmission with centrifugal clutch for smooth acceleration and superb control. Its wide stance and long wheelbase offer a sturdy base, while its long wheel travel and large tyres were designed to soak up obstacles.

• ENGINE - Powerful, High-Revving Litre-Class Engine with Robust Low-End Torque: Offering the best of both worlds, the KRX4 1000’s compact litre-class engine delivers both high power and high torque. Its well-balanced performance enables both high-rpm operation as well as low-speed running. The mild character accommodates a wide range of situations, from desert running to more challenging terrain.
• CHASSIS - Robust Chassis Designed for Hardy Performance: Wheels positioned as far apart as possible contribute to the KRX4 1000’s overall stance. Its long 3,195 mm wheelbase, combined with the long wheel travel, contributes to its performance and ride comfort, while its wide stance helps the vehicle maintain its line when cornering. (Tread measures 1,505 mm at the front; 1,480 mm at the rear.)

• WHEELS & TYRES - 31” Tyres with 15” Aluminium Wheels: Large-diameter tyres and 15” aluminium wheels contribute to the KRX4 1000’s excellent off-road capability. Optimal front and rear traction helps trace a line through corners, while high rear-wheel slide control facilitates steering from the rear.
