The Ninja 1000SX has character without compromise. • STYLING - Sporty, Dynamic Ninja Styling: Supersport-style full-fairing bodywork gives the Ninja 1000SX a distinct, head-turning look. Sharp, edgy fairings, and a single-sided muffler contribute sporty, dynamic styling that reflects its sport riding potential and contributes to a strong Ninja family image. • ENGINE - Exhilarating In-line Four Engine: Powerful 1,043 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-line Four engine pulls strongly from all rpm and does not let up before the redline. The engine delivers superb response, a strong mid-range hit and an intoxicating intake howl – every twist of the throttle rewards the rider with a physically and aurally exhilarating sensation.
• HANDLING - Composed, Sport Handling: The Ninja 1000SX’s highly rigid aluminium frame offers a high degree of mass centralisation, offering a balance of agility and firm handling. The bike responds quickly to rider input, while offering an excellent ability to soak up bumps and ruts. Highly composed, the Ninja 1000SX’s superb straight-line stability and its planted feeling in corners make it easy to spend long hours in the saddle.
• COMPONENTS - Supersport Components: A number of supersport-style components contribute to the Ninja 1000SX’s sport riding potential. An inverted front fork and Horizontal Back-link rear suspension are complemented by a supersport-style brake package, including triple brake discs, radial-mount monobloc calipers and radial-pump front brake master cylinder.
• TYRES - Light handling, enhanced grip: BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres contribute to lighter handling, while offering enhanced grip in both dry and wet conditions, which translates to greater rider confidence and enjoyment.
• KQS - Kawasaki Quick Shifter: Complementing the Ninja 1000SX’s exhilarating engine character, the quick shifter enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts for seamless acceleration and quick and easy deceleration.

• CLEAN-MOUNT PANNIER SYSTEM - Easily Attach & Remove: The mounting system for the accessory panniers* allows the panniers to be attached and removed very simply, contributing to increased convenience. Seamlessly integrating the panniers with the rear of the bike, the clean-mount system positions the panniers close to the bike centreline, its clean clutter-free design ensuring the rear of the bike still looks good with the panniers removed. *Sold separately as Kawasaki Genuine Accessory. • ELECTRONIC CRUISE CONTROL - Relaxed Cruising: Kawasaki’s cruise control system allows a desired speed to be maintained with the simple press of a button.

• KCMF - Kawasaki Cornering Management Function: Using the latest evolution of Kawasaki’s advanced modelling software and feedback from a compact IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the corner – from entry, through the apex, to corner exit – modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition from acceleration to braking and back again.
• KTRC - Kawasaki TRaction Control: Three modes cover a wide range of riding conditions, offering either enhanced sport riding performance or the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence.
• KIBS - Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System: Kawasaki’s supersport-grade brake management system uses high-precision control to regulate brake pressure during sporty riding. KIBS also incorporates corner braking management, modulating brake force to assist riders in holding their intended line through the corner.
• RIDING MODES - A Mode for Every Road: Integrated riding modes link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Power Modes to offer varying traction control and power delivery settings to suit different riding conditions. Sport mode enables sporty riding for winding roads. Road mode offers comfortable riding over a wide range of conditions. Rain mode delivers reassurance over wet surfaces. Rider (manual) mode lets you set each system independently.
• INSTRUMENTATION - TFT Colour Instrumentation: The compact 4.3” all-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech appearance. The screen’s background colour is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.
• SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY - Get Connected: A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience. *RIDEOLOGY THE APP is not intended for use during vehicle operation.
