The design team at Mandello del Lario have been unrelenting in their pursuit of perfection, achieving new levels of comfort, safety and riding pleasure on the V7 SPECIAL. Riders will appreciate features such as the high-performance DUNLOP ARROWMAX STREETSMART tyres, ideal even in slippery conditions, along with the shortened rear mudguard, brand-new LED front light and new front and rear indicators.

DESIGN - Always on the road

The V7 SPECIAL sports a comfy new “old-school” saddle in classic brown upholstery with a chrome steel passenger grab rail, a feature that not only adds to the bike’s elegant look, but also delivers greater comfort for all on board.

STYLE - Special right down to the smallest detail

New iconic graphics on the fuel tank speak to the new engine capacity, while a host of smart chromatic details distinguish its shape and colour, with finishes that blend tradition and innovation to perfection, such as the spoked wheels with polished aluminium channels and black hubs, an instrument panel with two analogue circular dials and the bulb-like headlight.

More than half a century after the launch of its very first model, Moto Guzzi proudly presents an important new evolution in the story of the V7 with greater performance and comfort than ever, for the perfect mix of classic style and modern technology. Rest assured that two things haven't changed, however, and they are the indomitable character and authenticity that are entrenched in the DNA of every Moto Guzzi bike. The new V7 may be faster, more comfortable, better equipped and more refined than ever, but its distinctive character and that typical Moto Guzzi authenticity remain unchanged.

ENGINE - New engine

The transverse 90-degree V engine has long been the hallmark of Moto Guzzi and this V7 is no exception, but the news is that it’s derived from the “All Terrain” V85 TT. We’re talking about the latest and most advanced ever built at Mandello, designed to deliver improved performance and overall efficiency and take reliability and riding enjoyment to a whole new level.

Maximum power leaps by 25% from 52 horsepower at 6200 rpm to 65 horsepower at 6800 rpm. There’s also a hefty increase in torque, from 60 Nm at 4250 rpm to an impressive 73 Nm at 5000 rpm, with more than 80% available at 3000 rpm.

DESIGN - Designed for impact

The V7 has long been an icon and its distinctive identity is part of motorcycling history, but this latest model to exit Mandello takes it up another notch in the design stakes. This is a more complete version than its predecessor, in fact, you could even say it’s more mature and grown up, with its larger engine and exhaust pipes with revamped layout making an assured visual statement. Towards the rear, both the universal joint transmission and wheel have been enlarged, while the Kayaba shock absorbers are more robust than before.

COMFORT - More comfortable than ever

The chassis now features steel elements in the steering head area, while the new longer-travel twin shock absorbers, two-tier saddle and updated rider foot peg supports all make for a more comfortable riding experience.
