Specially made by Arai for competitive riding, this helmet represents the ultimate of excellence in terms of style, comfort and safety. Bold and iconic, it attracts attention with its Drudi Performance design, inspired by the MotoGP livery, where the neon red design feature on the curve stands out on the Ducati red background. The outer shell in PB-SNC2 (Structural Net Composite), adds rigidity to the resin, protecting against impact and dissipating energy upon impact. Further enhancing rider safety is the “Peripherally Belted SNC” system, a protective reinforcement band that wraps around the upper area of the shell.

The wider visor increases visibility on the curve, whilst the scratch-proof, anti-fog properties, with increased internal V-Shield support compared to the previous version, offer the rider comfort and safety thanks to the VAS technology, which envisages perfect peripheral vision. The diffuser with optimized aerodynamics, side extractor and upper air vent with improved airflow efficiency are elements of the advanced ventilation mechanism, which also features a channel capable of creating a suction effect from the opening at eye level to the side duct, and a new sliding clasp that can reduce noise while increasing the helmet's durability and water resistance.

The FCS elastic foam support has been extended to the cheekbone to provide a more comfortable fit and excellent stability at high speeds. The inner liner in fine Eco-Pure® hypoallergenic fabric and ventilated neck padding are removable and washable. A helmet dedicated to the most demanding Ducatisti, who are striving to achieve maximum performance without forsaking the unmistakable racing style that characterizes the entire Ducati Corse collection.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Outside:
    • PB-SNC2 (Structural Net Composite) shell that adds rigidity to the resin in the different layers of fibers and strengthening materials inside the shell
    • Peripherally Belted SNC Shell: a belt laid peripherally on the top of the eye-opening of the shell, increasing its rigidity
  • Inside:
    • Removable interior in Eco-Pure® fabric with very limited frame area
    • Facial Contour System (FCS). A foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds makes putting the helmet on easier. The cheek pad wraps under the jaw- and cheekbone instead of mostly on the soft cheek area. FCS offers a looser fit with secure support over a larger area providing superior stability and comfort with minimal pressure
  • Visor:
    • Wider visor for perfect peripheral vision. The wider visor aperture gives better visibility on bends
    • CE-approved thermoformed visor, scratchproof and anti-fog
    • VAS Visor (patented) with V-shield base plate, 5mm longer and 10mm wider than the previous model
  • Plus:
    • Diffuser with improved aerodynamics for high-speed stability and drag
    • Top ventilation IC duct 5 with improved airflow efficiency by 11% compared to the previous model
    • Side Duct 6 with aerodynamic edge to improve high-speed stability
    • Arai Side Air Channel (ASAC). Air suction from the eye port to the side duct
    • Ventilation with a new slide shutter: reduced wind noise, improved durability and waterproofing
    • Racing closure with D-ring fastening, with a button to secure the strap
    • Replaceable Vented Neck roll. Easily removed and re-installed for thorough washing or replacement. With neck exhaust to enhance hot-air extraction from the interior. Increases the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet
